Rhonda Rice

Rhonda Rice has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Rhonda began their career at Asheville Savings Bank in 2006, where they held various roles such as Staff Internal Auditor, VP of Banking Center Services Manager, and VP of Retail Operations Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing different divisions and functions including deposit operations, online and mobile banking services, electronic funds transfer, and training for retail staff. In 2019, Rhonda joined First Bank as a VP and Senior Auditor.

Rhonda Rice has an extensive education history. Rhonda attended the University of North Carolina Asheville from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting.

In 2012, Rhonda enrolled in the NC School of Banking in Chapel Hill and completed their studies in 2015. The degree and field of study for their time at this school were not specified.

In addition to their academic achievements, Rhonda also holds several certifications. In 2010, they obtained the Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. One year later, in 2020, they obtained the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from the same institution. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
