Local Initiatives Support
Marlin Wilson currently serves as a Senior Program Officer for National Programs at the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) since April 2025. Prior to this role, Marlin held various positions at the United Way of Greater Charlotte, including Interim Director of Community Initiatives, Neighborhood Relationships Manager, Resource Development Specialist, and Campaign Associate from August 2021 to April 2025. Marlin's experience also includes working as an Administrative Housing Specialist at The Foundation of Rural Housing from March 2020 to February 2021, a Summer Intern at the Office of Senator Tammy Baldwin in 2019, and a Human Resources Specialist in the US Army from July 2013 to October 2018. Marlin has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Duke University.
