Sarah Sturtevant is an experienced professional in community development and health integration within urban environments. Currently serving as the Deputy Director for LISC AmeriCorps since September 2018, Sturtevant has prior experience as the Manager of Community Initiatives at NeighborWorks America and as a Health Fellow with the Urban Land Institute. Sturtevant's involvement with community organizations extends to serving on various advisory commissions, including the Police Advisory Commission in Philadelphia and the Environmental Policy Commission in Alexandria, Virginia. Sturtevant's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Hope College. Career highlights also include management roles in political consulting and environmental projects, underscoring a diverse skill set applied to community enhancement and public engagement.
