Ari Schwartz

Ari Schwartz is an experienced policy and program manager, currently serving as the Managing Director at Local Progress and Local Progress Impact Lab since October 2017. Prior roles at the organization include Associate Program Director, Campaigns and Program Manager, Program and Communications Manager, and Campaign Organizer. From September 2012 to October 2017, Ari held various positions at DC Jobs with Justice, including Lead Organizer and Solidarity Organizer. Prior experience includes a role as Workers' Rights Education Coordinator and serving as a Corps Member with AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps from August 2012 to August 2013. Ari began the career as an Organizing Associate at the Southeast Laborers' District Council in 2012. Ari holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Spanish from Vanderbilt University, earned in 2012.
