Naomi Seixas has a diverse work experience that spans several notable companies. Naomi began their career as a Writer and Project Coordinator at AldrichPears Associates from 2004 to 2008, where they developed content and media for various exhibits. Naomi then worked as a Project Manager at NY Projects from 2008 to 2011, managing international projects and exhibitions. In 2010, they interned at the United Nations' UN-Habitat office at their headquarters. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Project Coordinator for the Americas Design Competition at The Battery Conservancy, overseeing the development of the digital competition platform and marketing strategy. Naomi then joined Ralph Appelbaum Associates as a Content Developer and Media Producer from 2012 to 2016, collaborating with design teams to create storylines and content frameworks for museums and exhibits. Naomi is currently a Project Director at Local Projects, a design studio that specializes in experience design at the intersection of technology and architecture. In this role, they lead interdisciplinary design teams to create impactful experiences, leveraging their strong background in developing content and media experiences for museums.

Naomi Seixas has a strong educational background, with a focus on city and regional planning, economic development, cultural planning, arts, and cultural management. Naomi obtained their M.S. degree in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute, specializing in economic development and cultural planning, from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued an MPS degree in Arts and Cultural Management at Pratt Institute from 2008 to 2010. Naomi began their academic journey at McGill University, where they completed their B.A. degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from 1999 to 2002.
