Mehdi Amoui

Mehdi Amoui has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2000. Mehdi began their career as a GIS Developer at Tavan Map Information Production in 2000. Mehdi then moved on to become a Software Engineer at ObjectJ in 2003, followed by a Technical Project Manager at Basamad Telecommunication and System Design in 2002. In 2011, they became a Software Architect and Technical Lead at Citlan Inc., and in 2012 they served as an External Consultant at BlackBerry. From 2014 to 2016, they were Co-founder and CTO at Quantaad Inc., where they were responsible for all technical and technology related aspects of the company's products and services. Finally, from 2006 to 2011, they worked as a Post-doctoral Fellow and Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo.

Mehdi Amoui holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from the University of Tehran, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Tehran.
