Stanley Wood

Stanley Wood is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in agricultural development and policy. Currently serving as Principal Strategic Advisor at Locana, a TRC Company, since January 2024, and as an Affiliate Professor at the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington since December 2021, Stanley has a strong academic and advisory background. Previously, Stanley was a Senior Officer for Strategy in Agricultural Development at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from January 2013 to December 2023. Other notable roles include Coordinator of the Consortium on Spatial Information at CGIAR and Co-Leader of HarvestChoice at IFPRI, as well as a Senior Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute. Stanley holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics and multiple advanced degrees in related fields from the University of London, University of Birmingham, and The University of Sheffield.
