Locaria
Alicia Perez Gallego is a skilled linguist and educator with diverse experience in language teaching and translation. Currently serving as a Junior Spanish Linguist at Locaria since September 2022, Alicia previously held the role of Language Teacher at GoStudent from November 2021 to June 2023. Additional experience includes translation of subtitles from English to Spanish at the IMPACTE! Human Rights Film Festival of Catalonia in early 2022, and teaching Spanish and English at Hol Spanish, Kids&Us, and Escola d'Idiomes Santa Eulàlia. Alicia's academic background includes a Master's degree in Audiovisual Translation from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics for TESOL from Durham University, and a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting of English and Chinese from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. A course in Contemporary Chinese was also completed at National Taiwan Normal University.
