Daniela Persico

Daniela Persico is an accomplished film industry professional with extensive experience in festival management and film criticism. Currently serving as the Artistic Director of the Bellaria Film Festival since February 2022, Daniela has played a pivotal role at the Locarno Film Festival since January 2012, holding multiple positions including Head of Special Events and Project Manager for various initiatives. As the founder of Filmidee, an online film magazine, Daniela has contributed significantly to film discourse. Daniela's expertise is further highlighted by participation in selection committees for various festivals, such as Woche der Kritik and ISREAL - Festival di cinema del reale. A graduate from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Daniela holds a degree in Arti Figurative, Musica, Spettacolo e Moda.
