Whitney Holden has been working in the scientific field since 2017. Whitney started their career with Anthony Nolan as a Cord Blood Scientist. Her role primarily focused on working with Cord Blood, with a focus on processing, analyzing, and cryogenically preserving Cord Blood to produce high grade Units fit for transplantation. Whitney was also proficient in isolating several cell types including mononuclear (MNC) cells using Ficoll technique, isolate CD34+ cells from samples and purify cell types using various methods including MACs technologies and cryogenically preserve these. In 2022, Whitney Holden began working at Locate Bio Ltd as a Project Scientist.
Whitney Holden attended Oxford Brookes University from 2012 to 2015, where they earned a BMedSci Medical Sciences degree. Whitney then attended the University of Liverpool from 2016 to 2017, where they earned an MRES Translational Medicine & Biomedical Sciences degree.
