Deputy Superintendent at Lockhart ISD

Stephaine Camarillo currently serves as the Deputy Superintendent at Lockhart ISD since August 2018, also holding the position of Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction. Prior to this role, Stephaine worked as a School Turnaround Consultant at the University of Virginia from August 2012 to the present. Stephaine's previous experience includes positions as Assistant Superintendent of Accountability and Compliance and Assistant Superintendent of Academics and Accountability at Gonzales ISD from March 2014 to July 2018. Additionally, Stephaine was the Coordinator for the Texas Turnaround Leadership Academy at ESC Region XIII from January 2005 to July 2012. Stephaine earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Cooperative Superintendency Program from The University of Texas at Austin between 2013 and 2016.
