Chip Fairbanks

Chip Fairbanks is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in vehicle platform development, specializing in four and all-wheel drive systems for various brands, including BMW, Porsche, and Jeep. Currently, Chip serves as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin, having previously held roles such as Senior Applications Engineer at Tactair Fluid Controls, Inc. and Development Engineer at both Magna Powertrain and New Venture Gear. Chip's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and earlier studies at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. With expertise in tools such as Matlab and Simulink, Chip focuses on vehicle dynamics and control systems.
