David Woods

David Woods is an Associate Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin, specializing in reliability engineering for the F35 program since May 2025. Previously, David gained diverse experience through various roles, including as a Food Service Worker at Compass Group, a Molecular Dynamics Research Assistant at the National Science Foundation under Dr. Youping Chen, and a Reliability Engineering Intern at CMC. Additional positions include assisting PhD students in cryogenic fuel research at the University of Florida and serving as a Cyber Security Intern at Emerging Tech. David's early experience also includes roles as an Audio Visual Technician and a UF Caller, as well as an Engineering Intern at Sociedad De Acueducto y Alcantarillado. David is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, expected to graduate in 2025.
