Douglas Bowman

Douglas Bowman serves as the Adjunct Accreditation Director for ABET since July 2014, focusing on the accreditation of engineering programs at both the bachelor's and master's levels while supporting various accreditation bodies and internal IT development. Bowman's extensive experience includes a long tenure at Lockheed Martin as a Program Director, overseeing global software development and operations contracts in collaboration with US and international government entities. Prior military experience as a Signal Corps Officer in the US Army involved significant responsibilities, including leadership in communications for USAREUR and faculty roles at the US Military Academy. Academically, Bowman holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
