Ilyas Syed

Ilyas Syed has over 25 years of experience in software engineering, currently serving as Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin since January 1998, where responsibilities include leading the Security Software group on the Next Generation Mission Control Center (MCC21) project, aimed at modernizing mission control systems for both government and commercial use. Prior to this role, Ilyas worked as a Software Developer at Raytheon from August 1995 to December 1997, where key contributions involved writing and debugging various programming languages to support database applications and astronaut training tools. Ilyas holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston.
