Bob Piet has worked in the IT industry for over 18 years. Bob began their career in 2001 as an Intern at the Federal Aviation Administration. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as an Operations Assistant at Camden Aviation, where they administered the Company Network and implemented a computerized maintenance tracking program. From 2008 to 2011, they were an IT Support Specialist at Landmark Aviation, where they managed the move and merger of multiple maintenance and flight operations into one location. From 2011 to 2019, they worked as a System Administrator at the Chicago Executive Service Center, where they hardened network and endpoint security, implemented and administered TSA approved intrusion and access control systems, deployed Meraki MDM application to 50+ mobile devices, and created PowerShell scripts for automatic reporting and deployment. Most recently, they have been a Support Services Consultant at Lockmann Krane International, Inc. since 2019.

Bob Piet attended the College of Lake County from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Certificate in Network and System Administration/Administrator & Security. Prior to that, they attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations.
