Jay Brown

Jay Brown currently serves as the President of the Middle Tennessee Employee Benefits Council and Lockton Companies, where the latter position commenced in April 2022. Jay has been a Nashville Health Care Council Fellow since January 2017 and was previously a Partner and Tennessee Practice Leader at Mercer from July 2015 until April 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Consultant at Cowan Benefit Services from July 2003 to July 2015 and a Sales Executive position at CIGNA HealthCare Benefits from July 1995 to July 2003, following four years as an underwriter. Jay Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University, earned between 1991 and 1995.
