Kristie Tiller, PE, LEED AP has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Kristie started their career at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as an Engineering Intern, where they performed mechanical engineering development activities and provided technical support for various projects. Kristie then worked as an Engineering Intern at Lockwood Andrews and Newnam, where they applied standard techniques and completed limited engineering tasks. After that, they gained experience as a Consultant at Hitachi Consulting, assisting with the design and development stages of reporting systems and providing project management support. In 2007, Kristie joined Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer, where they designed mechanical systems for commercial facilities and worked on LEED certified projects. Kristie also completed energy audits and managed a small team of designers and engineers. In 2010, they worked as an Energy Engineer at SC Engineers, focusing on energy efficiency projects. Since 2012, Kristie has been working at Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. as an Associate and the Director of Mechanical Engineering, specializing in the design and evaluation of mechanical systems for healthcare and higher education facilities. In addition to their formal education, Kristie Tiller has also obtained several certifications, including the LEED Accredited Professional certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
