Elizabeth Clapp-Carey

Liz Clapp-Carey serves as Head of Distribution for LoCorr Funds and is responsible for all distribution efforts of the Firm, including external and internal sales. In this role, Liz leads the Firm’s distribution teams and sales efforts for the U.S. and is pivotal in positioning LoCorr as experts of low-correlating strategies within the financial industry.

Prior to joining LoCorr, Liz served over 14 years at Alger Management as their Senior Vice President, Head of Intermediary Distribution, where she managed the intermediary sales team including Regional Marketing Managers and Regional Marketing Associates calling on broker dealers and advisors. Her previous experience includes working as Head of National Accounts at both Evergreen Investments and Deutsche Asset Management and holding various positions at Columbia Funds.

Liz graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Merrimack College in Massachusetts. She holds the securities registrations for Series 6, 7, 63, 24, 26 and has also earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation. She has over 36 years of experience in the financial services industry.
