Nikki Vargas-James has worked in various roles since 2005. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at InterCall as an Account Manager, where they managed clients' conference call accounts, delegated client needs to the operations staff and followed through to make sure the needs were met. From 2010 to 2018, they worked at Frontline Medical Communications in various roles, including National Account Manager, Classified Sales Representative, Recruitment Sales Support Manager and Admin. Finally, from 2018 onwards, they have been working at LocumsMart as Manager of Key Account Managers, Key Account Manager, Facility Manager and Sales and Workflow Support Representative, where they perform a variety of tasks related to the daily activity of LocumsMart's clients.

Nikki Vargas-James completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Management, General from Berkeley College-Woodland Park in 2008. In 2016, they attended Dale Carnegie. Prior to that, they attended Boonton Highschool from 2001 to 2005.
