Job description

Overview:

We are seeking a 1st shift Production Operator/ Technician. The right candidate will be mechanically inclined or have some experience operating equipment in a lab or manufacturing setting. The Production Operator position is an opportunity to become an expert on the equipment operation for our unique technology.

Wage: $22-$25 hr. (based on experience).

Day shift: 8:00a-4:30p

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Prepare reactors for production cycles, including loading raw materials, setting parameters, testing functionality, and inoculation of culture.
  • Accurately record batch record data.
  • Work with quality control for sample testing and analysis.
  • Communicate production cycle abnormalities and support troubleshooting measures.
  • Maintain warehouse area and ensure high level of cleanliness and organization of materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance on reactors, tanks, pumps, and other production equipment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to understand equipment operation. Some experience working in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
