Akos Hamar

Akos Hamar has a diverse and extensive work experience in the construction industry. Akos co-founded Plannerly - The BIM Management Platform in 2017 and served as the Chief Operating Officer. At Saint-Gobain Nordic and Baltic, they were the VDC Implementation Manager from April 2017 to August 2022, where they successfully implemented Virtual Design and Construction services on selected projects and contributed to internal process development. Prior to that, they worked at BuildingPoint AG as a Business Development professional from May 2014 to June 2017, where they offered project management and digital services related to construction projects. Akos also worked at Trimble Inc. as the Head of Back Office Operations from January 2010 to April 2014. Before that, at Vico Software, they served as an On-site Project Manager and a Services Project Manager from August 2007 to December 2010 and August 2007 to August 2008, respectively. Akos also worked at Graphisoft as a Virtual Construction Specialist from April 2007 to August 2007. Overall, Akos Hamar has played integral roles in implementing digital services and driving efficiency in construction processes throughout their career.

Akos Hamar obtained a Master of Arts in Architecture from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they studied from 2000 to 2007. Prior to this, they attended Istvan Gimnazium, although the specific years and degrees obtained are not provided.
