Dmitriy Ryaboy

Dmitriy joined Zymergen after having built the data platform and experimentation teams at Twitter, data engineering tools at Cloudera, log analysis and metrics software at Ask.com, and bioinformatic pipelines at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He helped create and grow multiple open-source projects, including Apache Parquet, and in 2021 co-authored a book for new software engineers, The Missing README. He holds a Master’s degree in ‘Very Large Information Systems’ from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
