Margaret Karczewski has over 10 years of experience in the design industry. In 2009, they began their career as a Design Intern at Bliss Lau. Margaret then interned at Lindsay Phillips in 2010, where they worked on CAD and Design Development. That same year, they also interned at Opening Ceremony, where they worked on artwork, illustration, and research. In 2012, they interned at Peter Som, where they rendered flats, illustrations, and prints. From 2013-2016, they worked at KARA, first as an Associate Handbag Designer and then as an Assistant Handbag Designer. From 2016-2019, they worked as an Accessories Designer at Calvin Klein. In 2019, they joined Mark Cross as a Senior Designer, where they worked closely with the sales and merchandising team to build collections. In 2020, they became the Owner/ Creative Director of Margo NY. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Loeffler Randall as a Senior Handbag Designer.

Margaret Karczewski began their education in 2005 when they graduated from Mountain Lakes High School with a High School Diploma in General Studies. In 2008, they attended a Summer Intensive at the Rhode Island School of Design and a Weekend Course at the Fashion Institute of Technology in the field of Fashion/Apparel Design. From 2009 to 2013, they attended Parsons School of Design - The New School, completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fashion/Apparel Design. Margaret also took a Parsons Saturday Morning Course in the same field during this time. In 2020 and 2021, Margaret completed a Sustainable Design Entrepreneur Certificate at the Fashion Institute of Technology in Fashion/Apparel Design.
