Zoe Wendel began their career in 2008 as a design intern at monique péan. In 2011, they joined Opening Ceremony, where they held the roles of Accessories Designer, Senior Accessories Designer, Director of Accessories, and Accessories Design Assistant. In 2016, they were appointed Design Director at Loeffler Randall.

Zoe Wendel attended the Rhode Island School of Design from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Jewelry & Metalsmithing. Prior to that, they attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 2006 to 2008.
