Michael Cotler

Michael Cotler has extensive experience in the mortgage industry. Michael started their career at Prudential Realty Group as an Associate Manager, where they improved portfolio returns and customer service. Cotler then joined AIG Global Real Estate as the Manager of Loan Administration. In this role, they administered the company's commercial mortgage portfolio and handled problem loans. Michael later moved to AIG Global Investment Group, where they served as both a Manager of Loan Administration and a Vice President. At AIG, Cotler was responsible for all aspects of mortgage loan production, including origination and underwriting. Michael closed over $1 billion of commercial mortgages and consistently exceeded origination targets. Cotler then joined CWCapital as a Vice President, where they co-headed the Northeast US deal team and closed over $700 million in commercial mortgages. Michael'sresponsibilities included loan origination, underwriting, and credit risk management. Cotler's most recent role was at Loews Corporation, where they served as a Senior Portfolio Manager/Vice President and was Head of Commercial Mortgage Lending.

Michael Cotler earned their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a concentration in Finance and Business Management Information Systems from American University. Michael pursued their education at American University from 1985 to 1989.
