Design Director, Advisor at Loftie

George Hastings has a diverse work experience in the design and product development field. George is currently working as the Head of Product at Coherence, where they are leading the development of an all-in-one DX platform for developers. Prior to this role, George was the Design Director and Advisor at Loftie, a brand focused on creating better tech-life balance.

Before joining Loftie, George worked at Attune as the Director of Product Design, overseeing all design efforts for their B2B software application. George also served as a Senior Product Designer at Attune, where they contributed to research, branding, and prototyping.

George has also gained valuable experience at IDEO, where they worked as a Senior Interaction Designer and Interaction Designer. At IDEO, they contributed to various design projects and collaborated with cross-functional teams.

Earlier in their career, George worked at AREA 17 as a UX Designer, where their responsibilities included digital strategy, research, information architecture, and HTML prototyping. Notably, they worked on redesigning websites for ESPN, Quartz, and Billboard.

George Hastings attended Hyper Island from 2011 to 2012 and obtained a degree in Interactive Art Direction. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Richmond - Robins School of Business from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus in Marketing and Studio Art.
