Wenzhe Xue has vast experience in the field of machine learning and data analysis. They have worked in various positions at different companies. Wenzhe has worked as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Log10.io since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Intel Corporation as a Deep Learning Engineer, where they optimized PyTorch on Intel CPU and GPU, led distributed training projects, and designed large-scale training using Intel accelerators for frameworks like TensorFlow and PaddlePaddle. Before that, Wenzhe worked as a Research Affiliate at Mayo Clinic, where they developed data analysis software, managed validation studies, and achieved significant acceleration through GPU algorithms. They also worked as a Distributed Machine Learning Intern at Nervana. Wenzhe's earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Arizona State University, where they achieved improvements in vessel segmentation and anatomic structure detection using C++ and machine learning algorithms, and as a Teaching Assistant at California State University, San Bernardino, where they taught computer science courses and provided programming tutoring. They also interned as a Codec Engineer at On2 Technologies, where they implemented motion estimation algorithms for video compression and explored the application of general-purpose computing on GPUs.
Wenzhe Xue has a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at California State University-San Bernardino. Wenzhe then went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Informatics from Arizona State University between 2010 and 2016.
