Chris Armstrong

Chris Armstrong is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in mechanical and process engineering within the manufacturing sector. Since June 2016, Chris has held multiple leadership positions at Logan Aluminum, culminating in the role of Strategic Development Manager, while previously serving as Technical Unit Manager, Plant Operations Support Leader, Engineering and Reliability Leader, and Mechanical Engineer IV. Prior experience at Steel Dynamics, Inc. from 2011 to 2016 included roles such as Plant Mechanical Engineer and Process Engineer within the Flat Roll Group, where responsibilities included managing mechanical maintenance, providing technical support, and executing continuous improvement projects. Chris's engineering journey began with co-op positions at Steel Dynamics, focused on mechanical and metallurgical projects, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tri-State University.
