Cole Osendorf

Cole Osendorf is a Process Engineer at Logan Aluminum since June 2020, specializing in automotive products by developing new products, overseeing trial materials, and collaborating on the commissioning of a new cold mill. Previously, Cole served as a Product Engineer, leveraging metallurgical engineering principles to produce high-quality aluminum sheet cost-effectively with an emphasis on environmental considerations. Prior internship experiences include roles as a Metallurgical Engineer Intern at Freeport-McMoRan and another at Logan Aluminum, where Cole focused on projects related to aluminum recovery and process improvement in direct chill casting. Cole obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from South Dakota Mines in 2020.
