Matt Lau

Matt Lau is a Wildlife Biologist and Photographer with a strong focus on spatial ecology and avian ecology. They have extensive experience working with a variety of taxa, particularly sensitive and endangered species like the western snowy plover. Currently serving as a Senior Biologist at Logan Simpson, Matt previously held a biologist position at the National Park Service from 2016 to 2024, where they led monitoring and management programs. Matt holds a Master of Science in Wildlife Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology from Humboldt State University.
