Xavier Cortesano has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Xavier is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Loggerhead Marinelife Center since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science for six years, where they held various roles, including Vice President Special Projects and Vice President Exhibit Project Management & Design. In these positions, they had full oversight of exhibits, furniture, and building design elements, as well as Departmental budgeting. Before joining the museum, Xavier was the Founder of Bespoke Como Properties from May 2012 to October 2015. Xavier also worked as the Head of Business Development and Marketing at Grimshaw Architects from March 2010 to February 2011. Additionally, they gained experience as the Business Development Manager at Oceanis Aquariums, where they researched and developed potential sites for public aquariums in Europe and the Americas, based in Paris and Toronto, respectively, from January 2004 to September 2008.
Xavier Cortesano obtained a Fashion Design Diploma from the Sydney College of Design from 1989 to 1991. Following this, Xavier went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Architecture at the Facultad de Rosario, although the specific start and end years for this education are not provided.
