Nathan also served as lab manager for the Life Sciences Lab, overseeing equipment maintenance and repair, purchasing, training, and hazardous materials handling and disposal. In July 2014, they joined Autodesk as a senior research scientist, where they investigated bioprinting and tissue engineering. Nathan also conducted research on microfluidics, digital microfluidics, viral culturing, fungal culturing, bacterial cell circuits, and lab automation. Prior to that, Nathan Schoepp worked as a lab technician at NASA Ames Research Center from January 2011 to December 2012.
