Michele Fugett, PHR

Michele Fugett, PHR has worked in the Human Resources field since 2006. Michele began their career as a Human Resources Administrator at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA, where they provided Human Resources and payroll administration for 400+ employees and senior management. Michele managed the lifecycle of employees, created and administered applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines, and adhered to security protocols and procedures. In 2019, they took on the role of Assistant Human Resources Director at the Westfield Area YMCA, where they provided Human Resources services for 400+ employees and senior management, developed and implemented an ADP onboarding recruitment platform, conducted background checks and pre-employment drug screenings, and managed risk management certifications/trainings and recordkeeping. In 2020, they became the Human Resources Director at LogicomUSA\u00ae, where they provided Human Resources consultation to establish a Human Resources platform for the organization, created a company handbook, designed, established, and rolled out policies, and coached/educated the CEO and managers on employee relations, employee issues, and payroll system functionality.

Michele Fugett, PHR, obtained their High School Diploma from Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School in General Studies. Michele then obtained an AMA Certification in Human Resources Management from Union College - NJ. Fugett also obtained a Professional in Human Resources National Certification from HRCI and an Executive Secretarial Certification from Katharine Gibbs School for Executive Assistant/Executive Secretary.
