Nicole Lakusta is an experienced educational professional currently serving as an Emerging Educational Technology Facilitator with the Parkland School Division since August 2024. With a diverse background, Nicole has held various roles including Course Facilitator and Developer at Logics Academy, Learning and Teaching Resources Consultant for the Government of Alberta, and ATLE ProLearn Chair with Alberta Technology Leaders in Education. Previous positions include STEAM Facilitator and Curriculum Educational Technology Facilitator with Parkland School Division, as well as Vice President for the Educational Technology Specialist Council of the ATA. Nicole's educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from The University of Lethbridge and a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education in Modern Languages. With a strong focus on integrating technology into education, Nicole has actively developed professional learning opportunities, collaborated with educational partners, and supported teachers in various curriculum areas throughout a career that spans over three decades.
