Brian Swem

Brian Swem has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Brian is currently the Director of Procurement at LogicSource, Inc. starting from April 2022. Before that, they worked at Louisiana-Pacific Corporation as a Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing from September 2019 to March 2022. Prior to that, they had roles at A.T. Kearney, where they served as the Manager, ATI Practice from January 2018 to September 2019 and as an Associate, ATI Practice from October 2015 to December 2017. Brian also has experience working at Nissan Motor Corporation as a Product Manager for Nissan Commercial Vehicles from November 2013 to August 2015, Manager for Supplier Capacity Management from July 2012 to November 2013, Manager for Total Customer Satisfaction from July 2011 to July 2012, and Manager for Customer Loyalty from August 2010 to July 2011. In addition, they worked as an Intern at W.W. Grainger in Supply Chain and Logistics Planning from June 2009 to August 2009, and at Ford Motor Company in various roles such as Resident Engineer in Vehicle Engineering from September 2005 to August 2008, Product Launch Engineer in Vehicle Engineering from January 2005 to September 2005, and Product Development Engineer in Vehicle Engineering from August 2002 to December 2004.

Brian Swem earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2002. Brian then pursued two Master's degrees concurrently, earning a Masters in Engineering Management with a concentration in Design and Operations from Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering in 2010. Additionally, they obtained a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, Strategy, and Marketing from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in 2010.
