Fletcher Simer has worked in a variety of roles across different industries. From 2006-2007, they worked as a Banquet Captain at Hotel Boulderado and a Bartender at The Local Vine. From 2007-2011, they worked as a Broadcast Technician at Komo 4 News and as a Supervisor and Assistant General Manager at Umami Restaurant Group, LLC. From 2011-2014, they were a Payment/Reimbursement Services Coordinator at the University of California, Berkeley. From 2014-2017, they were a Program Assistant at Northwestern University. Most recently, from 2022-present, they have been a Support Group Lead and Customer Facing Support Specialist at Logik.io Commerce Engine.

Fletcher Simer began their educational journey in 1999 when they attended NOLS. Fletcher then attended Colgate University from 2001 to 2005, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. In 2005, they attended Victoria University of Wellington.
