Richard Smith

Richard (Renzy) Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in logistics, supply chain management, and operations within the military and civilian sectors. Currently serving as Practice Area Lead for Transportation, Distribution, and Mobility at LMI since October 2023, Richard previously held key positions with the Pacific Air Forces, leading supply chain and transportation management with oversight of a $21.5 million budget and a team of 40 personnel. Richard's 12-year tenure with the United States Air Force included various leadership roles, such as Senior Vice President of Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, where comprehensive logistics strategies were developed for military operations, and the management of significant budgets totaling over $400 million. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame and two Master’s degrees in Logistics Management and Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology.
