Milan Popovic

Milan Popovic is a seasoned maritime professional currently serving as Hafenleiter at Logistik Service GmbH (LogServ) since September 2021 and as Gesellschafter / CEO of Smart Danube Services GmbH since August 2020. At Smart Danube Services, a company rooted in the nautical sector, Milan focuses on connecting maritime employees with leading international shipping companies. Previously, Milan held the position of Captain at Inland Waterways from May 2011 to May 2021. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering obtained from the University of Belgrade, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Information Sciences from Electrical Engineering High School "Nikola Tesla," complemented by a High School Diploma from the School of Shipping, Shipbuilding and Hydraulic Engineering in Belgrade.
