Vassilis Kalofolias

Vassilis Kalofolias is an experienced data science professional currently serving as a Data Science Manager at Logitech since June 2022, following the acquisition of Airica. Vassilis co-founded Airica in January 2020, where the role as Chief Data Officer involves leading the development of air quality sensing analytics models. Previously, Vassilis was the Lead Data Scientist at LeanBI from January 2018 to May 2022, providing technical project management and data architecture consulting. As a co-founder and Managing Director of Largo from January 2017 to December 2018, Vassilis revolutionized the film industry through data science services. Vassilis also completed a PhD in Machine Learning at EPFL, where fundamental research focused on machine learning, graphs, and probabilistic techniques. The academic foundation began with a 5-year diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras.
