Gert-Jan van Zaanen

Gert-Jan van Zaanen is an experienced information security and data privacy professional with a strong background in consultancy and auditing across various sectors, particularly healthcare and government. Currently serving as a Senior Information Security Specialist at Logius since November 2024, Gert-Jan previously worked as an Information Security & Data Privacy Consultant at Cqure Consulting and Resillion, where roles included security officer for a Dutch government institute and optimization of information security management systems. At Atos, Gert-Jan coordinated ISO audits and acted as a Data Protection Officer, while earlier experience at KAS BANK N.V. involved senior roles in IT auditing and operational assessments. Gert-Jan holds a Bachelor in Business IT and Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from LOI.
