Gavin Gear

Gavin Gear is a seasoned professional in the biosciences industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Logix Biosciences since July 2009, focusing on immune modulation intranasal drug development. In the same year, Gavin launched Logix Biosciences with an initial vision of introducing medical grade manuka honey as a health product. Previously, from September 2009 to June 2022, Gavin was the Lead Researcher at ManukaGuard, developing a novel treatment for chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) sufferers. Gavin founded Elegant Illusions, Inc. in 1976, establishing a successful retail chain specializing in gold jewelry with lab-created gemstones, starting in Monterey, California. Gavin's educational background includes a Master's degree from The School Called Life and a Training Teachers Certificate in Learning Sciences from The University of Auckland.
