Marco Farina

Marco Farina is an experienced professional with a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Marco is the Founder & CEO of Logol AG, a company they established in 2017. Marco is currently serving as a member of the Executive Board for the Swiss LegalTech Association. Additionally, they hold the position of Lecturer at the Kalaidos Banking+Finance School as of 2021.

In terms of previous experience, Marco worked for XY SA from 2008 to 2018, where they held various positions. As the Associate Partner and Head of Technology Labs, they developed innovative solutions for wealth management, managed a cloud migration project, and implemented infrastructure and innovation process management. Marco also served as the Associate Partner and Head of Digital Transformation, focusing on IT process improvements, culture development, and remote access solutions. Before that, Marco was the Application Development Manager, responsible for delivering fintech projects and managing app development teams. Marco started their career at XY SA as a Solution Architect & Project Manager.

Aside from XY SA, Marco worked at Accenture from 2006 to 2008 as a Solution Architect. Marco led a team in designing and delivering a major e-Procurement project and provided guidance on development standards. Prior to that, Marco was the R&D Manager at TER from 2004 to 2006, overseeing product development projects and implementing process management.

Marco is also an active member of Mensa International since 2014.

Marco Farina completed their education at the following institutions:

1. From 2015 to 2017, Marco attended MIP Politecnico di Milano, where they earned an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General.

2. From 1998 to 2003, Marco studied at Politecnico di Milano and obtained a Master Degree in Computer Science, specializing in Ingegneria informatica.

In addition to their formal education, Marco Farina has obtained multiple certifications:

1. In March 2022, they became a Microsoft Certified Trainer for the period of 2022-2023.

2. In August 2021, Marco earned the Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals certification.

3. In October 2015, they became a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) through the Scrum Alliance.

4. In September 2013, Marco obtained the Exam 496: Administering Visual Studio Team Foundation Server certification and the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCPS) certification.

5. In January 2012, they achieved the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.

6. In June 2008, Marco earned the MCPD: Web Developer certification from Microsoft.
