Jörg Pohlman

CEO at Lohmann

Jörg Pohlman is the current CEO at Lohmann. Prior to their current position, Pohlman served as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Yates Industries from September 1988 to April 1990. There, they developed a new strategic initiative to lead Yates copper foil business into new market segments and designed a national pricing strategy which led to a significant increase in gross margin and profitability. Pohlman was also part of the management team which led the divestiture of Yates from Square D Corp to a private equity firm from Luxembourg.

Before Yates Industries, Pohlman worked for Permacel Tape Company from July 1981 to July 1988 where they started as a sales representative for the Mid-Atlantic States before becoming Market Manager for the Automotive & Aerospace markets. Jörg also served on the team that transitioned the sale of Permacel from a J&J Company to Avery International and then later to Nitto Denko.

Jörg Pohlman attended Rider University and earned a BA in Political Science.
