Pratyush Sinha

Pratyush Sinha's work experience begins with their current role as the VP of Special Projects at Lohum, starting in April 2021. Before that, they co-founded Merak.AI in 2018 and held multiple roles there. As a co-founder, they primarily focused on building human-in-the-loop ML systems for faster data entry, such as digitizing restaurant menus and bank cheques. Pratyush also developed image processing algorithms and a handwritten text recognition deep learning model. Additionally, they managed the sales process, recruitment, and led the product through iterations. Prior to Merak.AI, Pratyush worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at AllGoVision from March 2017 to May 2018. Their earliest work experience was as an Associate Product Manager at hike messenger from July 2014 to July 2016.

Pratyush Sinha completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, from 2009 to 2014. Pratyush also obtained a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from the same institute during the same period. In 2014, they received a certification in Computational Neuroscience from Coursera.
