Marcelo Ávila

Marcelo Ávila has over 14 years of work experience in various technical and managerial roles. Marcelo is currently working as a Senior Technical Project Manager at Loka since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at Azion from August 2021 to November 2022, and as a Product Manager at Konvi from March 2021 to July 2021. Previously, Marcelo served as a Product Manager at XPBoards from July 2020 to March 2021.

Before transitioning into product management roles, Marcelo worked as an Operations Team Manager at Zallpy Digital from June 2018 to July 2020. Prior to that, they were a Software Development Team Lead at Fator 7 Tecnologia da Informação from April 2017 to June 2018, and at Kbase IT Solutions from January 2014 to April 2017. Earlier in their career, Marcelo worked as a Business Analyst at Ferramentas Gedore do Brasil S.A from March 2013 to January 2014, and as a System Analyst at Kbase IT Solutions from April 2009 to March 2013. Marcelo also gained experience as a System Analyst at G4 IT Solutions from March 2008 to April 2009.

Throughout their career, Marcelo has demonstrated strong technical and leadership skills, including project management, market monitoring, prioritization of tasks, and team management. Marcelo has experience in software development, product improvement, and providing support to users. Marcelo is skilled in analysis, development, implementation, and testing of various applications and systems. Marcelo has also contributed to defining internal processes and has experience with ERP modules.

Marcelo Ávila began their education at Universidade Feevale in 2011, where they pursued a degree in International Trade from 2011 to 2012. Following this, they attended Unisinos in 2013 and 2014, focusing on Processes Management and gaining knowledge in Business Administration and Management. Marcelo later returned to Unisinos from 2019 to 2022, completing a degree in Public Relations with a specialization in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. Additionally, Marcelo obtained a Product-led Certification from Pendo.io in December 2022.
