Pedro Gil

Pedro Gil has a diverse work experience spanning various design roles and companies. Pedro is currently serving as the Head of Design at Loka, where they manage and grows a team of over 10 designers across multiple locations. Prior to this, Pedro was the Design Team Lead at Loka. Pedro is also the Co-Founder & Head of Design at Forwwward Studio, a design studio that partners with tech companies and startups. Pedro has extensive freelance experience, having worked as a Freelancer at Pedro Gil - Digital Product Studio, where they provided design services. Previously, they worked as a UI/UX Designer & Creative Strategist at PACSIS - Marketing Technologies and as a UI/UX Designer at PACSIS. Pedro also explored their passion for cinematography as a Video Post Producer at RTP, the Portuguese National television. Pedro started their career as a Web Designer at Grupo Lusófona and Portugal Telecom Sistemas de Informação. Pedro Gil's education history begins in 2007 when they obtained a Bachelor's degree (Nivel IV) in Motion Graphics & 3D Animation from Restart - Instituto de Criatividade, Artes e Novas Tecnologias. Pedro then pursued a Licentiate degree in Film, Video e Multimedia Communication from Universidade Lusófona - Centro Universitário Lisboa, graduating in 2011. In 2012, Pedro completed a Post-Graduation in Design from the same institution.

In addition to their formal education, Pedro has obtained various certifications. In 2016, they completed a Curso de Espanhol from Instituto Espanhol. Pedro also acquired Google ADs for Display and Google ADs for Search certifications from Marco Gouveia - Consultoria e Formação de Marketing Digital in 2019. Pedro further enhanced their skills by obtaining a Product Manager Foundations certification from One Month PM in 2022 and a Web3 Product Management certification from the same institution in 2023. In 2020, they became an Educational Partner with Interaction Design Foundation. It is also mentioned that Pedro has attended Industry Sessions by EDIT.
