Didzis Balodis

Didzis Balodis is a seasoned professional in information security and IT operations with extensive experience in diverse sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Information Security and IT Operations at Lokalise since April 2020, Didzis focuses on implementing security management processes for a fast-growing SaaS company. Previously, Didzis led the IT Security and Infrastructure team at SQUALIO cloud consulting from May 2011 to April 2020, where the establishment of an IT Security practice and the management of over 100 IT security projects were key achievements. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Consultant at PwC, where contributions to IT strategy and risk assessments were significant, and as a Systems Administrator at AB.LV Bank and the Ministry of Defense in Latvia, focusing on server administration and system development. Didzis holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte, completed in 2005.
