Ketal Patel

Ketal Patel began their career in 1998 as a Senior Software Engineer at Hitachi Healthcare Americas. Ketal was promoted to Software Engineering Manager in 2000 and led a large team of engineers and scientists working on developing sophisticated software solutions for MRI devices. In 2008, they moved to ViewRay, Inc. as the Director of Software Engineering and built and led a team of engineers to develop a sophisticated enterprise level software system for a MRI Guided Radiation Therapy Delivery System. In 2012, they joined QiG Group as a Senior Software Architect and provided technical leadership in the architecture and detailed design and implementation of an implantable medical device. In 2014, they moved to CardioInsight, Inc. as a Software Development Manager and built and led engineering team that moved product from proof-of-concept to commercialization. In 2015, they joined Medtronic as an Engineering Director and directed the activities of Engineering teams and served as Core Team Leader coordinating the activities of Regulatory, Technical Service, Operations, Marketing, Clinical, Reliability, Quality, and Legal to commercialize their product in the US and EU. In 2017, they co-founded both Vitalxchange and Lokyata, serving as Co-Founder & CTO and Co-Founder & Board Director, respectively. At Vitalxchange, they helped create a holistic virtual health platform that helps a parent show up confidently in all aspects of raising a child.

Ketal Patel began their educational journey at Valley Forge High School, graduating in 1992. Ketal then attended The University of Toledo, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics in 1996. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University, completing the program in 1997.
