Alex Phung is currently the Chief Legal Officer at Lola Digital Media. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Commercial and Technology Lawyer at Cargill from September 2011 to September 2019. At Cargill, they were responsible for corporate strategies, commercial negotiations, data privacy, technology, antitrust, marketing, risk and compliance, and corporate governance. Alex also led teams for company acquisitions and joint ventures, including Cargill's acquisition of Diamond V in 2017. In addition, they served as Cargill's representative for the Twin Cities Chief Legal Officers Group and led the company's summer intern program for the Law department.
Before their time at Cargill, Phung worked as an Associate Attorney at Dorsey & Whitney LLP from August 2008 to September 2011.
Alex Phung attended the University of Michigan for their undergraduate degree in economics and then went on to the University of Chicago Law School for their Juris Doctor.
They work with Stephen Regenold - VP, Strategy, Liam Steacker - CTO, and Chris Ede - CFO. Alex Phung reports to Eric Phung, CEO.
